Host an Event with PhotoDiversity™ Films

Raise support for science through the arts and protect the environment!

Who is Eligible to Host a PhotoDiversity™ Film Festival?

The PhotoDiversity™ Film Festival partners with aquariums, zoos, environmental groups, nature centers, museums, outdoor retailers, conscious businesses, schools and colleges. Our partners raise awareness for their own campaigns, attract new supporters, raise funds, and bring global and regional issues to the local level. A portion of PhotoDiversity™ Film Festival also goes to support The Zoological Lighting Institute, a 501 c(3) dedicated to advancing photobiology research for wildlife conservation and animal welfare.

PhotoDiversity™ Film Festivals present the best in environmental documentaries, made by and featuring a diverse range of film-makers and topics from around the globe. A festival is a great way to reach and inspire your audiences to care for and protect the world they love, no matter who they choose to be.

How Do I Host?

  1. APPLY
  2. CHOOSE A DATE
  3. SECURE A VENUE
  4. PICK YOUR PROGRAM
  5. START PROMOTING

Apply, describing your organization and audience, for a spot on our tour calendar, even before you have a set date or venue. The festival staff does NOT travel to your venue, which reduces our carbon footprint and keeps your costs low. And since your event is not dependent on our travel schedule, you pick the date that works best for your organization and community!

What Your Organization Provides

  • Projection equipment
  • A venue with an adequate sound system and a screen
  • Technical staff to run projector and Blu-ray player (can be a volunteer!) Support staff (volunteers) for ticket sales, publicity, setup, cleanup, etc. Marketing and promotion
  • Tickets and ticket pricing

Costs

The price of our custom package may vary depending on the scale of your event and film program. Please inquire if you would like more information; contact us at admin@zoolighting.org. Keep in mind that most of our venues easily cover the cost of the program with ticket sales and local sponsorships. In fact, many of our venues use this as their biggest fundraiser/membership drive of the year!
